GRAMMY-nominated pianist and composer Joey Alexander makes his debut at the piano store to share his newest album Celestial Keeper (July 2026, Mack Avenue Records). He reflects on creativity, faith, gratitude, and personal transformation, exploring the challenge of overcoming doubt and artist’s block. This album arrives during a pivotal chapter in Alexander’s life, following his family’s recent move back to his native Bali. Reimmersing himself in Indonesia’s nature and rhythm of life profoundly shaped the album’s aura of beauty and wonder.

JOEY ALEXANDER
Joey Alexander is a Grammy-nominated jazz pianist and composer from Bali, Indonesia. With seven acclaimed albums and performances at the White House, Carnegie Hall, and the Grammy Awards, he is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary jazz.

Joey Alexander burst onto the global jazz scene with his debut album My Favorite Things in 2015, released by Motéma Music. Since then, he has released seven albums across Motéma, Verve, and Mack Avenue Records, earning widespread acclaim and three Grammy Award nominations for Best Instrumental Album and Best Improvised Jazz Solo. His albums My Favorite Things and Countdown both reached #1 on the Billboard Jazz Charts, while Eclipse climbed to #3.

Joey has performed for President Barack Obama at the White House and President Bill Clinton at the Arthur Ashe Learning Center Gala. His live appearances include The Grammy Awards, The Grand Ole Opry (with Kelsea Ballerini), The Apollo Theatre, Carnegie Hall, and major jazz festivals, clubs, and concert halls worldwide.
