BRANDON GOLDBERG
South Florida–born, New York–based pianist, composer, and bandleader Brandon Goldberg is an award-winning young voice in jazz, praised by DownBeat for his “unassailable technique, advanced harmonic understanding, deep sense of swing” and remarkable clarity of ideas.
Goldberg has released three critically acclaimed albums as a bandleader: Brandon Goldberg Trio: Live at Dizzy’s (2024), In Good Time (2021), and LET’S PLAY! (2019). He has performed at leading festivals worldwide, including Newport Jazz Festival, SFJAZZ, Caramoor, NCPA Mumbai, Santander, and Ystad, and at celebrated New York venues including Dizzy’s Club, SMOKE Jazz Club, Mezzrow, and Birdland Theater.
A finalist for the 2027 American Piano Awards, Goldberg is also a YoungArts Winner with Distinction, a semifinalist in the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Piano Competition, and a recipient of the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award.
Goldberg frequently collaborates with legendary bassist Buster Williams and renowned producer and songwriter David Foster, joining Foster at the Hollywood Bowl for a celebration of his career and 75th birthday in 2024. Beyond jazz, Goldberg has composed music for television and written extended works for piano and orchestra commissioned and performed by the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
