Award-winning contemporary self-taught pianist and composer Samer Fanek makes his debut appearance at the piano store with a set of his original compositions, focusing on his most recent fourth album, "Call of the Desert," inspired by his nostalgia for his home country of Jordan, as well as a longing to travel back there more often. He'll also play his own arrangements of music from Arabic and Mediterranean artists.

Samer Fanek (Arabic: سامر الفانك, born December 11, 1986) is an award-winning pianist, keyboardist, composer and producer of piano instrumental music. He has a longtime dream to create instrumental songs that have an enduring emotional impact on people, hoping that his songs will travel from his small home studio to the world stage, where he aspires to perform them alongside talented musicians and orchestras for everyone to experience.
To date, he has released four studio albums: “Call of the Desert” (2022), “Polarized” (2020), “Guide Me” (2018), and “Wishful Thinking” (2016). All of his albums received glowing press reviews and debuted at #1 on various Amazon.com charts in the genre, with his debut album also charting nationally at #12 on the US New Age Billboard charts.
Samer won several awards and nominations with his music, including winning the Great American Song Contest for best instrumental song, multiple silver medals in the Global Music Awards, and nominations in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) in 2016, 2019, and 2021. His debut album also made the 59th Grammy® Awards first-round ballot in the Best New Age Album category.
Growing up in Amman, Jordan, he discovered his passion for music as a teenager, teaching himself to play the piano by ear through trial and error. His love for music deepened as he started experimenting with music production software, learning to blend the sounds of various instruments to evoke specific emotions. This self-driven exploration led him to meticulously recreate many of his favorite radio songs from scratch. As his skills developed, Samer began sharing his instrumental and piano solo arrangements on YouTube, gradually building an audience of over 8,000 subscribers. Encouraged by this positive reception, he turned his focus to composing and releasing original music, with his unique compositions resonating with listeners worldwide and amassing over 2.7 million streams on Spotify. samerfanek.com
