ANNA LAURA QUINN
New Orleans-based vocalist Anna Laura Quinn is known for her particular blend of repertoire, combining well-loved tunes from the American Songbook, French and Brazilian music, and other carefully chosen gems from across musical genres, all of which she delivers with style, emotional power, and an undeniable joie de vivre.  After receiving her Masters of Jazz Studies (M.M.) from University of New Orleans in 2021, she released her first full length album Open the Door in February 2022.  The record features nine of her own arrangements, which Jazz Times critic Andrew Gilbert praised for "artfully thread[ing] the jazz needle” and “establishing her own winsome identity as a savvy vocalist and arranger with an appealing sound, unfailing taste, and expansive palette of influences."  Since the release of the album, Anna has performed consistently in New Orleans and in the San Francisco Bay Area where she was raised. She made her international debut in Eymet, France in December 2022.  She performs primarily under her own name as well as with the Unmentionables, a band she founded in 2020 that plays what she calls "New Orleans Getdown music for the people."  Anna is propelled by her unwavering dedication to music, visual art, and collaboration.  She brings a creative spirit to her craft as a vocalist, leaning into the improvisational essence of the jazz idiom and singing with sincerity, humor, and imagination. annalauraquinn.com

JOE KYLE, JR.
Joe Kyle Jr. cut his musical teeth in the early 1990s in San Francisco, when entry-level gigs were plentiful and taxicabs were large enough to accommodate a double bass.  His musical education began in the trenches and the barrooms and dance halls of the Greater Bay Area, and continues to this day. Joe has become an in-demand performer and session player known throughout the land for his superb feel, musical agility, adaptability and propensity for slap bass and tragicomic asides.  He may be the only bassist to have played with pianists Martin Denny, Al Kooper, AND Pinetop Perkins, although not with all on the same session, sadly. Joe can frequently be seen and heard performing, recording and merrymaking with many Bay Area groups, including Americano Social Club, HowellDevine, the Colm O'Riain Band and The Waybacks.   joekylejr.com
