This beautiful piano was purchased new from our company in 2004. Its new owner had us deliver it to his home in North Dakota, where the piano was meticulously maintained and kept under strict climate control. Its owner, a violist, collector and author (please click to explore his latest book “The Missing Strad: The Story of the World’s Greatest Violin Forgery”) cherished the piano for 18 years but today spends little time in North Dakota and has returned the piano to us with the request we find it a new loving home. As a violist he played the piano only infrequently and its main use was for occasional accompanying - as a result the piano is in virtually new condition today. Fazioli grand pianos are renowned for their rich singing tone and their soundboards share with the “missing Strad” the red spruce wood from the Val di Fiemme in Northern Italy.
