1950 Janssen Spinet w. Lowrey Organo
Here is an extremely rare instrument - a spinet piano with built in electronic organ. Janssen was a maker of high quality small pianos in the 1940s through 1960s, and through a joint venture they installed Lowrey organs in a limited number of their pianos. Although we are aware of few Janssen "Lowrey Organo" pianos existing we have never seen even a photo of another is this wild mid-century case design. The piano here is in fine condition as is the blonde cabinet. The Organo is functional and has an striking "vintage" organ sound although the pitch on certain notes is sounding rather strange. We assume a good vintage electronics technician will be able to make everything right. Height 39in. Serial number #110077.
