In his "Ode To The Piano," Gabriel Schillinger-Hyman presents his arrangements of some of the most moving yet chronically underplayed masterpieces of Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Thelonious Monk, Dr. Don Shirley, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea and more. Joining him is an all-star band consisting of his identical twin brother Eytan Schillinger-Hyman (bass), Alexandra Ridout (trumpet), and Michael Mitchel (drums).

Known for their synergy and near-telepathic abilities on and off the bandstand, New York City-based identical twins Gabriel (piano) and Eytan (bass) Schillinger-Hyman lead vibrant careers in jazz and can be found regularly performing at NYC household & historic venues with jazz heavyweights Christopher McBride, Akira Tana, Mike King, Erena Terakubo, Mike Olmos, Lucas Pino, Tim Green, Tyreek Mcdole, Lawrence Fields, Wayne Escofferey and more. Alexandra Ridout, crowned "International Best Jazz Soloist 2023" has performed with the Blue Note-signed Artemis, is a member of Arturo O’Farrill’s Grammy winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, performs in bands led by Dayna Stephens, Pablo Held, Jochen Rueckert...etc) and leads her own groups at some of the world's most esteemed jazz venues and festivals. Between the three of them, Gabriel, Eytan, and Alexandra have played SFJAZZ, Dizzy's Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Blue Note (NYC), Monterey Jazz Festival, The Django, Black Cat, Minton's Playhouse, The Jazz Gallery, the Kennedy Centre in DC and more.
