BUD E. LUV
It started on February 14, 1988 in San Francisco at The Paradise Lounge. Bud E. and the boys had played on Live 105’s Alex Bennett Show that morning. That incredible SOR show started a 13 year, every-Tuesday-Night run interrupted only by an 11 week off-Broadway stint where everyone from Madonna, Chaka Kahn, Niel Young, and Regis Philbin caught the show. Stephen Holden of The New York Times called The Bud E. Luv Show “the ultimate lounge act”. An appearance on The Today Show solidified the legend.
