"Love Letters from Jamie" will showcase vocalist Jamie Davis’ way with love songs and ballads while including some swinging elements, a nod to the blues, and lots of love to welcome Spring. So, sit back and enjoy the velvety, rich baritone voice of Jamie Davis, backed by an impressive, all-star band: Matt Clark (piano), Ron Belcher (bass), Leon Joyce, Jr. (drums), and Michael O'Neill (saxophone).

Two time Grammy nominated vocalist Jamie Davis holds a position amongst the pantheon of great male vocalists, with a compelling, full baritone voice, an engaging stage personality, and a passion for his craft that leaves his audiences uplifted and feeling good - really good! He has performed extensively on the international stage, and coast to coast in the United States, and has toured and recorded with The Count Basie Orchestra, garnering his two Grammy nominations with the orchestra.

MATT CLARK
Pianist Matt Clark is a major fixture on the Bay Area Jazz Scene, studied at Oberlin Conservatory, and has played with, among others, Joshua Redman, Marcus Shelby & Bobby Hutchison.
RON BELCHER
Bassist Ron Belcher has traveled the world bringing his rhythmically buoyant uplifting style to the stage, performing & recording with such greats as Regina Carter, Ledisi, John Handy & many others.
LEON JOYCE, JR.
Drummer Leon joyce, Jr., is a first call musician, has toured for 9 years with The Ramsey Lewis Trio, and has performed with headliners including Nancy Wilson & Monty Alexander, and at festivals and clubs everywhere.
MICHAEL O’NEILL
Saxophonist Michael O'Neill studied with the great Joe Henderson and is a favorite to accompany many of the well known Bay Area vocalists, as well as leading his own band, recording, and composing.
