Songstress Darlene Coleman makes her Piedmont Piano debut with a concert showcasing her diverse musical taste and styles, featuring unique renditions of both familiar and some not so familiar classics. Accompanying will be Norman Landsberg on piano, Jeff Massanari on guitar, Atemu Aton on bass, and Deszon Claiborne on drums.

Darlene Coleman has been lending her diverse vocal skills to such prestigious locals groups such as Pride and Joy, Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra, Dick Bright’s SRO, as well as being the featured vocalist for music and entertainment venues, festivals, private events, and television programs all over the USA and abroad in Asia. Her upbringing, shared between her Louisiana birthplace and San Francisco’s Fillmore district, provided her with a wealth of eclectic musical influences, enabling her to develop a uniquely formed style. Expect to hear marvelous renditions of classics by Ella, Nancy, and Natalie, Ray, Nat, and Frank, interpreted in a fresh new way, as well as her take on more modern and contemporary gems.
