Wayne De La Cruz's desires to make music started at an early age playing drums, vibes and eventually lead to organ and piano. At the age of 9, his parents got his a drum-set and lessons. In junior high school, began taking lessons and playing vibraphone in the school jazz band, his first introduction to playing jazz. While in high school at the age of 14, his father suggested he start playing keyboard and bought him a Baldwin spinet organ that came with 6 free lessons. He soon realized that he preferred organ over an acoustic piano, remembering the organ he heard when his father took him to see Ray Charles in 1968. His first gigging organ was a Hammond Porta B, followed 2 years later by “the real deal,” a 1961 Hammond B-3, the same organ he gigs with today. In 1973, at 16 years old he began gigging for money, which included playing lot of bars, private parties, and events, and he has been a working keyboardist ever since. For more details, visit waynedelacruz.com

Jeff Massanari was born in the small town of Goshen, Indiana, surrounded by the beautiful Amish countryside, but an unexpected move to Washington DC at age 9 changed everything. Exposed to the vibrant music scene there, Jeff sought out the guitar and began playing at age 13, focusing on blues and rock. After hearing the first note of John McLaughlin’s “Inner Mounting Flame,” he was hooked on jazz. By the time Jeff was 17 he was performing and teaching jazz and blues in the DC Area when his love of jazz took him to Boston’s Berklee School of Music. After studying performance and composition, Jeff moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and quickly became one of the most in-demand guitarists, playing in various styles, and often accompanying artists such as Seth MacFarlane, Mark Inouye and the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Hall, Stern Grove, and traveling to play in Bejing, China. For more deetails, visit jeff-massanari.com
