Our new location: 18th Street & San Pablo Avenue
in Oakland's Uptown Arts District, now open!
January 2010 - We are thrilled to announce we have moved into our beautiful new home in Oakland. In June 2009, after a long negotiation, we completed the purchase of the historic California Furniture building at the corner of 18th Street and San Pablo Ave., in Oakland's vibrant Uptown Arts and Entertainment District. This beautiful Art Deco building was constructed in 1946 as the California Furniture Company, and in more recent years was well known among local artists as the home of California Art Supply. Months of renovation are now complete, and our new home includes a large piano showroom, concert performance space, music school and practice rooms, warehouse, and rehearsal space.After 30 years on Piedmont Ave. our piano store relocated to our new Uptown location in January, 2010. Music lessons continue at our old location on Piedmont Ave. as well at our new location on San Pablo Ave. We offer lessons for all ages in piano, guitar, voice, winds, reeds, strings, and drums.
